The BoE holds about 1/12 of the total Government debt, about £8,000 for each man woman and child in the UK.

So, a rather innovative and progressive government could, with a bit of imagination and courage could write this debt off, or maybe turn it into a Sovereign Wealth Fund.

It's not gone away, human decency, the idea of fair play is still there, it is just that there are those who put a lot of time and money into trying to drown it out to suit their narrative that Britain is broken.

Having grown up in a town where there were Polish social clubs, and festivals to celebrate Polish culture were common place, I would be as appalled as if someone painted a red cross or 'Subhan Allah'.
