Personally, I think it is far more ”well-balanced“ to look at the world in terms of material reality, rather than hiding behind myths of the Good, Kindly Colonial Overlords.

Most younger Estonians I know identify much more strongly as Eastern European, or if not then as Uralic. I think that the Estonia-As-Nordic thing is of an older generation, and is fading away
