Column matrix gas concentrations were controlled by mixing cylinder gas with UZA using MFCs and delivering the custom gas mixture through the columns from bottom to top (dotted orange line). Statistical comparisons in (A–E,H) were made using a generalized linear model with a Poisson distribution followed by ANOVA and post hoc comparisons using Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference.
