At 60 years old, I can, with dignity, say those dreams are far behind me. The troubling dreams are now being stuck on a school bus to elementary school. I've forgotten to get off or have slept through my stop. The bus wanders through strange cities while I hope for my stop to come round again.

Missed by many in this thread because their hair is on fire 🔥 is things are happening. As you posted injunctions are filed and put in force by the judiciary. Some are being ignored, which will lead to additional court rulings. A gutted DOJ will be up to their armpits trying to defend Trumps actions.

@fritschner.bsky.social It's not particularly stupid to post thoughtful responses to the current crisis here on Bluesky. Its only stupid if you don't expect criticism from catastrophizers. Any opposition from the Senate Democratic minority has to be measured regain a majority in the 2026 mid-terms.

The prospect of working for this admin is frightening for the young engineers I know. Even those with cis white penises don't trust the way projects are being torpedoed with no thought for the consequences. When you've made a career on building things, tearing things down is not inspiring.
