37mm can usually be fired out of a 40mm barrel, they’re very low pressure. Besides the LAPD has enough resources and connections they could have a whole new line of solid projectile 37mm made. This kind of regulation is just to make people feel good.

I’ve been looking at specs for different less lethal rounds and it looks like 37mm beanbag rounds carry the same muzzle energy as the 40mm foam ones they’re using. I’m worried they will just switch to those instead.

It’s the difference between worrying about maintaining the inflated asset prices, and figuring what foods you can afford cheap without leaving you malnourished

Against the billionaires and fascists, sure we’re allies. But once things get more stable comfortable people have a habit of looking down at those still struggling and decide they just need to work harder. And progress stops.

I’m not attacking anyone. But the idea that I should shudder at the possibility that people born into the middle class may have to degrade themselves by living like me and everyone I know is silly. I’m blue collar Californian and most of my coworkers know the only retirement they’re gonna get is 9mm

White men are experiencing all the same economic and social pressures as everyone else. Saying there is something fundamentally wrong with these people instead of acknowledging that we are all being fucked by the same system has been a losing strategy. Especially considering what the right promises.
