Surely Forest can't be subject to Marinakis' "volatility": doesn't the blind trust mean he has NO say over the workings of the club?

So that's 17 consecutive tournaments won by the team that played the first semi-final. Chelsea and England continue the trend since that stat was mentioned on the pod.

Although the lower T-flow rates for LCR residents is an attempt to reduce the impact.

Yeah you can't really have a full discussion on urban planning in 300 chars at a time. Not defending the tolls: just trying to highlight how the reductions for residents is trying to maintain a status quo that never existed for the Wirral crossings.

I meant that Widnes and Runcorn were so close that if there hadn't been a river in the way they would have been one town. The bridge made them a single conurbation (for want of a better word), especially as there was no toll. Birkenhead and Liverpool: not so much.

Yes. But it's never actually *been* free. Unlike the old Runcorn bridge.

It's because the original Runcorn bridge was free and essentially connected two halves of the same conurbation. There was never a free Wirral-Liverpool road.

I wonder if Spurs' "Don't call us Tottenham" edict is using similar thinking to FSG's attempts to trademark "Liverpool" (which failed because you can't trademark a placename)? If they can stop people from just saying "Tottenham" then they could bring legal cases against unauthorised sellers.

What I wonder is - when the black holes at the centres of those galaxies collide, what's the outcome for the solar systems in those galaxies? And any civilisations that have evolved on them? Is annihilation inevitable?
