fwiw the demo didn't use steam cloud, so make sure to check ~\AppData\Local\DELTARUNE. hopefully it's there..

the game is best when you go in with the same mindset as outer wilds—try to explore something new, one run at a time. be patient, you will discover things gradually

for those starting out and feeling repulsed by the "roguelike".. embrace the randomness. always prioritize new rooms. leave yourself a path or two. schreier's tips are a great starting point bsky.app/profile/jaso...
Some tips for playing Blue Prince:
- Always draft rooms you’ve never seen before
- Stockpile resources and draft dead ends on lower ranks
- Progress isn’t having a lengthy run, it’s learning new things
- If you’re feeling aimless, look for a room called the Study
