I was able to watch on another flight a Chinese war flick about a band of guerrillas fuckin with the imperial Japanese forces in occupied China, it was the most “Hollywood but. not” type action war flick I’ve ever seen, it rules.

Especially when we compare to the key visuals released a while back. Obviously shit changes in production, AAA development is design by committee, etc. I get it. But like... the colors look muted! It can't be for visibility's sake when the more saturated game was literally a FPS parkour game!

The game-play trailer for Marathon has made me feel like I'm being overtly-critical of something that's not yet released but like compared to a game that's over 10 years old at this point there's a bit of night and day going on here....
