Alastor bringing it back to the origin of it all? Rosie IS still a security system for power. Did he strike a new deal more in his favor, now that he has experience with it?? And Rosie being on board?? Cuz that was a FAST tonal shift just to be like "oh sure bud, here's a new staff." BIG BAD TEAM??

I knooow the new Alastor/Rosie deal looked as straightforard as "fix my shit and I'll help" but the way she SMILED after he said "you knew my game the day we met." Like... something bigger is in the works here. I don't think they walked away suddenly pals with such a simple arrangement.

I apologize for my wrongness 😔 I have turned into a total screeching, mouth-foaming Alastor stan and I am more ashamed and humiliated that there was a time I wasn't.

But also.... could it be referring to specifically the last scream rain in the last seconds that sounds an awful lot like the scream of Sir Pentious paired with a bolt of lightning colored differently than the other scream rains in the episode?

Yeees! Also throwing in that Lucifer represents pride. What a terrible punishment to not only be banished from your home for your choices but to be eternally surrounded by the perceived failure that was a consequence of those choices. Sinners will always make him believe he's not good enough.

ALSO, I still guess the hand but it could be a power thing already happening. Vox tries to put himself in an "influential/trusting" position, Alastor's guard goes up seeing the hand, Vox pulls away almost immediately upon noticing the tension. But Alastor doesn't look angry just like.... "no thanks"

Taking a shot and saying, as another asexual, it's probs Vox's hand haha Unexpected touch can feel weird. It's not how affection is expressed? And notice that Vox moves it like... right away, too. I think Vox knew Alastor wasn't a fan because they were real close. Just a GUESS.

...oh so good if she could ALSO try and get her own help 😭 She isn't ready to take all this on, and that would be fine if she weren't hurting others along the way! I am rooting for this girl to take care of herself 💪🏻 She is hurting so bad and it shows.

..does redemption have to do more with freeing ourselves from our mistakes? Is it about choosing something greater the next time, rather than having to "correct" the past? I don't think that's the point. Pen is haunted by that memory. I don't think he was obligated but what if redemotion has more to do with finding ways to be free of our guilt/sin, not to "correct" it? Speedrun to Redemption is a goofy way of showing it's not as easy as just "being good."

This realization came AFTER Emily talked to her. So she is finding out *why* he was redeemed, not saying he had to do that. And it was after all those other steps she thought were the key. It's a pretty reasonable train of thought with what she's given. But she's not sure what to do with the info.

You also have to remember that Hellaverse are "show don't tell." We're piecing together motivations as the character would present them to us, without being handed the information. It's something I really love about it.

Right?? She's an incredibly ambitious person who is now feeling the pressure of her role with the grief of watching her passions literally die. She thought her dream cost the life of her friend. She is grabbing at ANYTHING to make it right and restore her faith in it all. THIS MAKES SENSE.
