Obviously a controversial topic, with no easy answers. Some non-profits are trying to help manage the situation, but it's not easy. Appalachian Horse Project is on my list of regular donations.

People drive to strip mines outside of Jackson to see generations of wild horses roam old mine sites. But others say overpopulation is becoming too big a problem across Eastern Kentucky.

Not sure portraying himself as the second coming of Manchin is the way to win a Dem primary, especially now with Dem voters almost unanimously pissed about the Dem Senators who caved on the ACA/shutdown issue
