I looked deeply into this.
It is SO much worse than just one dev.
The official server is run like 4chan, with a bot conveniently auto-replacing slurs. They also have their *own* code phrase to refer to trans people, and permit all sorts of awful things said there.

Dawntrail is the "Your character is now a shonen mentor character" arc and for some reason people see that as lame and it makes the WoL "unimportant" which is insane cus:
1) Obviously, YOU still beat the shit out of the villains
2) The villains have to plan around you because you're so strong
