Haha I seriously did a deep clean on every screen, keyboard, and mouse. Some of the mice were so bad it looked like fur was growing underneath of them. Took me almost two hours to clean 23 workstations. DNA scrub.

I teach in an editing lab, and at the beginning of the semester I went in to check all the iMac stations. To my horror, they were all powered off, and every single one of them looked like they’d been used as a touch screen for years. 27-inch screens with more fingerprints than a crime scene.

It was “organized” during the last move…7 years ago. I recently had to do some Frankenstein HDMI conversion and by the grace of the electronic gods it took less than an hour to find the cables and adapters I needed!

An all time great, not sure why folks dogged it so hard when it first came out, maybe because it wasn’t as serious as Unforgiven or Tombstone.

I’ve given into adjusting the difficulty to a lower setting so I could get through the game quicker and wouldn’t give up on it because of frustration or fatigue. Bonus points for games adding all the adjustable sliders so you can tailor the experience exactly the way you want!

And then proceeds to take 45 minutes to install while you sit and stare at a tiny progress bar… You know what they should do, give you a little game to play while your updates are being installed. Something like Space Invaders, or Pong, or a text adventure!

Crazy to think that we were trained to believe this was the case our whole lives. I still feel guilty for having Pop Tarts because an old boss saw me eating them at work and called them “garbage pastries”. Sir, these are not garbage.

Movies really are magic and the theater experience can heighten the feeling. I love getting whisked away to a place of make believe for 2+ hours!
