Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team is so good i'd prolly give it a 7/10, not as intricate and nuanced as the original series but it has about 1/4 the episodes, it was fun seeing a more militarized ground level perspective on the war. Also the last episode made me weepy

Mobile Suit Gundam is an easy 8/10, I think that the story of a child being forced into joining an armed conflict not by his government but by obligation to his friends only to then discover that he's kinda like, genetically perfect for active warfare is an interesting premise that i think can grow
