People are pointing out the Beatbreak digivolution sequence also includes audio elements from Adventure! And next ep we get a "bad" Gekkomon evo it seems. Really intriguing how Beatbreak is so fresh but still includes a lot of classic Digimon tropes

It's too bad the sapotamas lack the tactile/mechanical aspect of classic digivices tho. I think I was spoiled by growing up with arguably some of the best digivolution sequences in terms of how cool they look on the kids themselves (tamers and frontier)
