Yeah. We want to an elect a woman who thinks we are stupid, hates our culture, hates the citizens that she is to represent, and who's policies & positions are asinine. Let's vote for her!

I'm confused; this woman has expressed open contempt for everything about Nashville, which will be her district. She evidently thinks that people are stupid - that they won't notice her inability or refusal to answer basic questions about her policies & political goals. How is she even a candidate?

Yeah. Let's elect a woman who expressed contempt for the district & contempt for the people of the city and state she is to represent. Let's elect a woman who can't answer a basic question about her policies & how she intends to achieve them & whose political views are toxic & will harm people.

How about a system that disallowed corporate donations & that criminalized lobbying? A system that criminalized donations from international sources, NGOs, that disallowed people in one state to donate to politicians in out of state contests & forbade legislators from engaging in insider trading.

Or, as responsible adults, they could have avoided all of this by negotiating with Republicans & passing a spending bill. Expecting our military, & our Air Traffic Controllers to protect the country without pay is CRIMINAL. Being fiscally realistic & negotiating is not capitulation. It's their job.

In reality, should be illegal to shut down the federal government & to demand that people work and serve in the armed services without pay. These legislators should all be horsewhipped for their infantile, brazenly political behavior. We are being represented by a bunch of feckless, cowardly weenies

All of this could have been avoided had Democrats simply negotiated with Republicans. But Democrats are fond of folly & political theater. Democrats are impressed, foolishly, by the illusion of "fighting." Being realistic & sitting down and talking with "the opposition" is considered capitulation.

The real issue with our party system is that our legislators are corrupt to the core, are cowards at heart and are morally bankrupt. But a boy can always dream.

The "orange cockwomble" very rightly thinks that the healthcare market should be driven by consumer demand, not the arbitrary demands of the federal government. And even your healthy neighbor needs to get regular health screenings, and access to emergency health services. Accidents do happen.

The 'idiots' in this scenario are those who thought that Obamacare would ever work to reduce healthcare insurance costs, given the auspices of the program, and who voted it into law. It was a stupid program that should never been enacted.

And here we are.

Meanwhile, the insurance and healthcare providers cleaned up, and made a fortune via the taxpayer paid subsidies that was the cornerstone of Obamacare. Their profits are through the roof. Naturally, these entities are putting pressure on Democrats so they may continue to suck up taxpayer cash.

The democrats did not demand that insurance companies reduce their prices, improve their process flows, or negotiate lower prices for drugs. As a result, the cost to provide the healthcare demanded by the regulations of Obamacare increased dramatically - paid for by the American Taxpayer.

So, American taxpayers were paying for expensive, cosmetic, medically unnecessary, procedures, like 'gender affirming care' - which is a lifelong medical commitment, in addition to other questionable procedures.

Healthcare costs rose because Democrats demanded that every conceivable medical issue be covered without exception. Regulation loving democrats also layered these programs with enormous regulatory demands that increased the cost to provide services to consumers.

Those who raised 'the prices' are insurance and medical companies. These entities fund lobbyists & donate enormous sums to Democrat politicians. In exchange, the Democrats established "Obamacare, which pays a large portion of their members healthcare premiums using taxpayer subsidies.
