So, there was a Symbiote that ended up on Stradatria, specifically in Great Yalfaria, where Lucy's kind come from. And somehow, someway the symbiote became well-adapted to the fiery environment and became mostly fire resistant, and then traveled for a while until one fateful night... It bonded with Lucy, and they are now Inferno. (Ref mainly around Lucy)

(After) "Reto, Exile of the Dark Forest tribe." Born a bastard son of one tribe member who attempted to usurp to title of Chieftain through unsound means against the tribe's traditions. The tribe has never told Reto about his father, nor did they tell his name. Lest he became anything like him, they gave Reto a trial through the most of his early life, to both serve his father's sentence if he had not been executed and discipline him through their usual training regiment. Even after succeeding in the trails and honors, he was still vilified by the ignorance of most tribe members. The higher ranking men forced him to train and hunt, while the women tried to manipulate and force themselves onto him. Especially the champion of the tribe, a woman warrior a foot taller, and physically stronger attempted to assault Reto. Overwhelmed by all who oppressed him, he had learned all he needed to survive on his own and came to a conclusion that it was time to forge his own life, thus exiling himself in search for a better life. Part 1: Oyama and her mother were refugees from internal and external war in Japan, Kure insisted that they must flee but Oyama wanted to stay, fight, and die with her late best friend, Katsuko. As Oyama's biological mother, Kure wanted her to live on and with her due to Oyama being the only thing left in her life. As a Kijo who left the Coven she wished she had never been apart of had cost her husband's life, not only did she want to flee Japan due to the war at hand but the Coven that was going to come after both her and Oyama. Before they knew it, they had found them; Kure and Oyama did everything they could to defend their home, only for the situation to become more dire. Bombs rained down as the fight went on, forcing them to run and fight for their lives, Oyama was in no place to argue even when she wanted to stay. Kure had lead her daughter to a secret area at shoreline to reveal a boat big enough for the two of them, they managed to escape before another bombing run was about to land on top of them. Part 2: Days worth of travel had found themselves on the island of Mauri, upon being discovered by a Hawaiian patrol group, Oyama was prepared to defend herself and her mother. But Kure raised both hands signaling to the patrol that they meant no harm, Oyama reluctantly dropped her weapon and did the same. They were brought to refuge camp, and were promised a deal to gain citizenship if they assisted them in their war and civil efforts with the skills they possess. A trial and word of acting in individual and collective responsibilities through participation being, "Ho'okuleana." For as long as "The Great World Requiem Wars" had taken place they had earned their rights to live in Honolulu. During the earlier years of the war Oyama was informed of her best friend's passing in battle, and in her will wanted her Tetsubo to be inherited by Oyama. Ever since she had the Tetsubo, the most of her days felt hopeless and empty, yet at the same time felt the glimering presence of Katsuko giving her hope that life for her will was to be better with or without her. Kure was later trusted to become a doctor and spiritual healer, despite having to hide her face to not scare locals and their children, she deemed her new life preferable. Plus Kure without the mask, cause she still pretty ;)

Small bit of lore on what Chiel is: Chiel is a Dyrad, their tree related appearances range from temperate zone trees to tropic zone trees. Though no matter how they come to be they, the Dryads always turn out as females. But Chiel wanted to stray from the commonality to help better define himself, through transitioning. This is a photo of Jette bringing Chiel in for a photo with the audience at their biggest show that finalized the tour. (Chiel wanted to stay out of the crowd's sight, but had no other choice but to be dragged in for a photo.)

Though Nitro's kind can control their heat, it's best for them to wear gloves and boots to prevent other people and things from catching fire. Cultural precaution, is what it's best referred to when they travel to place much different than where they come from.
