If happiness is driving you forward in this journey, then the destination is simply a byproduct of your effort. If walking the journey is the focus, the result is simply a predicted outcome.

The only variable then, is time. And that is something we cannot control.

Happiness must be the journey. ❤️

It may be an overly optimistic perspective, but we know it's true: anything worth doing will take time. And if you persist, progression / proficiency / traction will result.

There are a thousand variables, of course, and no guarantees. Which is precisely the reason why happiness must be the reason.

when you do get to work. Maintain a balance of work, play, rest, and everything else - as best you can.

It is a marathon. And it might take a thousand swings of the hammer before a shard comes off the monolith.

But it will crack.

willingness. Dedication. Energy. Time. Passion. Determination. You'll use your muscles and strike that chisel at every opportunity.

At some point, the monolith will crack. But for it to crack, your chisel must stay sharp. Your hammer solid, your muscles strong.

All this to say, REST. But work hard
