The ETH first season panic buys and last season 'backing and sacking', has set us back. Especially when added to the decade+ of decline. The club should never have been in this situation, but we are, and i'll give INEOS 18months to show me they can lead us out of this darkness.

It's unlikely there is a whole gang of proven elite attackers, all looking to leave their current clubs (in Jan) and join United, at an affordable fee, and INEOS and just thinking 'Nah, can't be arsed with that!'.

A few weeks ago, i watched a city side enable to buy a result. They were truly terrible. I put this down to down to the mental side of the game. Opponents smell blood. Legs feel heavy. Decision making is off. United have been like this for years. They aren't bad players.

We're now down to Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Ugarte and Amad and a couple of these are debatable.
Players that have performed since Amorim took charge: Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Mount, Fernandes, Ugarte, Mainoo, Amad, Hojlund.
The rest need to get up to speed, quick.

We're now down to Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Ugarte and Amad and a couple of these are debatable.
Højlund shouldn't be leading the line regularly for Manchester United. Perhaps one day he'll be good enough but he isn't good enough right now. He should be second/third choice.

Embarrassingly poor decision making time and time again throughout the match. That last 5mins was amateure stuff. Got the win though and imagine that game confirmed Amorim's thoughts on some of those players #MUFC

United have failed Rashford. He's overplayed, underdeveloped and not received the protection he deserves. He's lived the dream, during a period of turbulence inside the club and unrelenting noise outside it - all with a target on his back. His performances are inconsistent. I think he should leave.

Small steps but an improvement on the weekend. Mazraoui is a pleasure to watch. Excited to see Hojlund develop in this new system. Precious game time for players as Amorim tried to get his game plan across. There are clearly issues but there's also plenty to be positive about. #MUFC

Never really understood the Mason Mount hate. The lad seemed like he'd found a golden ticket when he signed. Has had awful luck with injuries and never had a run of games. Could be an 'arm around the shoulder' type player and hopefully Amorim will get the best out of him #MUFC
