If we're going to keep allowing/encourging movies to be greater than 3 hours long, we really need to normalize having an intermission. This is something the team behind #TheBrutalist got very right.

"um, actually, it was a 'roman salute'." That's not the save you think it is. It's not like that's some normalized thing in the UnitedStates, or something 3lon was already known for repopularizing. The more shameless neofascists are loving this; it will only emboldened their movement.
