I resisted Kindle for years. Finally got one (paperwhite signature) two years ago. It makes life so simple and books are downloaded instantly. We also belong to Freebooksy and Bookbub and get emails from each every day with free and massively reduced books. I’ve had some great free books this year.

Currently on my 72nd according to my Kindle app. My wife who doesn’t work has read 114. Reading is our primary leisure activity now! Kindle makes it too easy.

Saw them in 1982, 1990 and 2015. First two times at Wembley Stadium, last time at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The only difference was they started and finished on time in 2015. Old age does that to you! 🤣

I love the Lake District. I remember standing near the Bluebird Cafe on Coniston one misty morning. It was eerie and chilling and beautiful at the same time.

Those figures for the UK are totally erroneous. Mass shootings are almost unheard of. There have only been 49 this century with a total of 69 deaths. That’s for 25 years and includes Northern Ireland.
