Finally beat Chronos in Hades 2 yesterday and taking a hiatus from the game and it felt good. I was knocking on the door multiple times and starting to get annoyed that I couldn't get through.

Nintendo really needs to overhaul how the king meter works in the next Splatoon game. It should not be possible to play in excess of 10 rounds without getting a king in freelance.

I've completed Prime 4 on hard and I never want to touch this mode again. Most of the time it doesn't even feel that different to Normal until you get to certain points, which feel horrible by contrast. I already disliked the final boss and this amplified all my issues with it.

I've had this nagging feeling that Marvel Cosmic Invasion just isn't as good as Shredder's Revenge since I started playing it. I think it boils down to many of the stage bosses being really annoying rather than genuinely challenging.

While I still enjoyed Prime 4, I can't deny that the game has some flaws and is probably the weakest Prime game for me. I really hope that the series doesn't get shelved because it didn't light the world on fire.

Honestly, my biggest gripe about the Game Awards this year was how predictable it was. Was Clair Obscur nominated for that category? There's your winner.

I'm closing in on the end of the last major area (outside of endgame surprises) in Prime 4 and in just hoping that the endgame cleanup isn't too bad (especially the green crystals).

As I've grown older, I miss the feeling of excitement I used to have for a big game coming out. There was a time when Prime 4 would have been consuming my every thought but that just doesn't happen anymore with how busy I am.

I'm enjoying taking my time with Age of Imprisonment, I just hope I don't have to rush to finish it before Prime 4 comes out.
