The first movie that I ever saw was in 1963(I think) on a night so hot that my parents took us to the movie theater down the street because it had AC. Woody Strode had a significant part in this movie: "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance". He left a big impression on me.

As a former Chef and perishables buyer, I don't know how any restaurant can continue to stay in business with these ever increasing food costs. So many have already gone under. Even in good times restaurants are not a high margin business.

Nolan made an earlier movie named "Following", which contained some of the ideas developed more fully in Memento. Great film.

I really quite enjoyed the show. I'm old enough to have watched the original Star Trek when it first aired. I haven't seen all the ST iterations that have come since; but I did enjoy the first two episodes of this new series. Looking forward to the next episode. Paul Giamatti is a hoot.

If airborne troops indeed deploy to "Minnesota", it will be because they will not use Canadian airspace to get to Greenland. IMO, of course.

Not so sure that's where they are going. Please read Malcolm Nance's recent newsletters re: Greenland.

What a fun movie. Saw it a million years ago on a Netflix DVD. Is it streaming somewhere? Thanks

I wonder if Karen Black ever got a full night's sleep after that! I know that it took me a while.
