I'm watching a movie in which a demon transforms a woman into a cake topper and then sets the cake on fire.

He was working on something I'd written where a character said "forget you" (had to be PG-13) and asked what I meant by that. I said "it's a TV edit joke, like gosh darned melon farmer" and he laughed and told us he'd been the guy who did it on Repo Man for the BBC... Pure coincidence!

I once met the guy who dubbed "gosh darned melon farmer" for a TV cut of Repo Man.

I'll be sure to watch that scene multiple times in an attempt to figure it out. 😆

I just got it on 4K last week. Now I'll have to watch it and try to figure it out myself.

With something like this I'll replay because the skills and builds do make a difference to the basic gameplay but I do get what you mean.

I used to be in a band with Huw. Tell him Kev the Goth says hello. 😆

Started over as a Monk and found a ton of stuff I'd missed in the druid encampment. Glad I went back and am playing slower now.

As a kid I remember it being a movie about kids. As an adult you see it's a movie about adults.😆

I've never met her but she always comes off as being super-friendly and, as you say, active in the community.

I just ordered it on DVD. Can't find a Blu Ray but given Disney buried the movie that's no surprise. Hopefully it's a better print than the one streaming on Disney+ right now.

Watched this for only the second time last night and I clearly wasn't old enough to appreciate it 1st time. A great coming of age dark fantasy with a strong cast and wonderfully Autumnal atmosphere. Too bad Disney screwed around with it but still a fantastic watch.
The poster for Disney's Something Wicked this Way Comes.

I just got the Blu Ray a month or so ago but the 4K release is a must. There's a ton of extras and even the "basic" BR has a great restoration for a movie 80 years old.

I saw somebody in B&N with that very shirt just last week!

My wife has one with a row of books and the text "I'm With The Banned."

I love Barbara Crampton. She's just excellent in everything.

I don't know if you ever watched Community but they did an excellent homage/pastiche/tribute to it.

And also whilst the performances are all strong Michael Redgrave is incredible in this. And it's all in the eyes.

This is the subject of next week's episode! I just got finished recording it this week. And watching it again makes me appreciate just how fantastically well-made and crafted this movie is.

There's an 80th Anniversary 4K edition landing this month. It will be mine.

Le Fanu is a fantastic writer. Green Tea is a particular favorite of mine because it's so weird. MR James considered him the finest author of ghost stories so who are we to argue with that?
