Here's the almost finished project. All that it really needs now is a lamp and probably a new drive belt. The one on it is cracked and looks like it could fail at any time.

Singer Featherweight update: I decided I wanted a red machine! The decals are applied, tomorrow I will clear coat it and then I can begin the task of putting it all back together.

I recently rescued this small sewing machine from going into a dumpster. Initial research identifies it as a Singer Featherweight 221 from 1955. It's as old as I am! I have downloaded the service manual, let's see if there is any life left in this thing.
