Heads up! USPS has changed postmark policies that can impact mail in ballots.
To ensure mail is postmarked the day you mail it you need to go to a PO & stand in line for a manual postmark or pay for postage as you surrender it AND get a receipt.
If you haven't time/ability to do so you're hosed.

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

People, tell me everything's gonna be okay. I'm trying to get a kitten for my kid and I'm 1 week and vet appointment away from making it work. Twice we had kittens die right before we could pick them up and had two adoptions fall thru bc people on the list got there first. Please let this time work!

Since Dec 1st, I've had "I Wanna Kill Santa Claus" by Danny Gonzalez stuck in my head. If it's not gone by Jan 1st, I'm inventing a time machine to make sure Tim Allen was never born. Then I'll hop back to WWI to snipe Hitler on the battlefield. It would be easier to kill him there than as a baby.

Being autistic, sometimes I have no idea if a post's serious or a joke until I check if the person is following the person they said it to. But then I have to check replies to see if they're fighting at the moment. I worked really hard to read social cues IRL. I don't wanna do this much work online!
