While Mitch's retirement marks a significant change in overall Kentucky politics, the ensuing dominoes could mark a massive change in the political makeup of Central Kentucky specifically. There hasn't been a true open race for CD6 since (by my math) 1998 when Ernie Fletcher won his first term.

Interesting, I could see that as well.

I think part of this is that people aren’t going to those orgs actual websites, they only see what’s posted on social media. Which is very much not everything that’s being reported on for most news orgs. People *only* getting news from social media is part of the problem.
