Fishermen in Curacao are afraid to go out to fish out of fear to get killed by Americans. This fisherman loosely translated says: "they can shoot you to pieces."

Putin: "Let's take Europe and divide it amongst us!"
Trump "That sounds like a great deal!"
Putin: "I'll take Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan and half of Germany. You get the rest!"

Europeans that support anti-European movements, need to think about a future where this doesn't work with democracy anymore. You will be considered the enemy, fifth column, collaborators with the enemy. You can complain about Brussels, but any idea what life would be under Trump or Putin?

While Europe needs to help liberate Ukraine from Russia in order to ultimately save itself, it also needs to defend itself against US relentless ultra-rightwing support against it's democracy. These are very dark times for Europe. But I do feel the autocrats have awakened a sleeping giant.

At my job (Europe) I saw a document with requirements for traveling to the US. There's talk about email and telephone numbers from contacts the last 10 years, social media, iris scans and much more. As if the situation in the US itself isn't enough from changing any travel plans. Great for tourism?

In the light of dumping big tech stuff, there are well working alternatives for Windows, Zorin OS for example, that gives the same look and feel, but is Ubuntu/Linux based.
Linux runs very stabile and is free. There are also many free office alternatives; LibreOffice for example that I use myself.

Trump is a gift that keeps on giving to Putin. It is what it is. What is left of the free world needs to stand up and save itself or go down in madness and abuse. Sideline these people as soon as possible and rally behind Ukraine. NO SURRENDER!

Stop appeasing Putin and Trump. It's a huge waste of time and effort. Instead, work around them and against them. Create a shadow NATO without the US. There's too much at stake for such games with bullies.

Europe must stand by Ukraine and help to liberate it. Then, step in anywhere in the world where other free nations are threatened by these autocrat mobsters. The whole free world must unite and stand up. There's just no other way. We COULD have used all those recourses to solve humanities problems.

Europe needs to closely cooperate with democratic nations like New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Canada, Uruguay, Japan, Costa Rica etc. We all need to protect each other to preserve democracy and freedom. We must help each other to push back this terrible movement enshrouding the globe.

Europe isn't perfect, there's corruption in Brussels and quite some problems. But that's absolutely no reason NOT to fight for Europe! Europe still has freedom of speech, general freedom to be yourself, democracy. Compared to Russia (and Trump's US) it's heaven. Save Europe and just improve it!

Europe is at a dangerous crossroad now. We either unite to form one block or gradually crumble down into pieces and eventually become a divided subset of Russia, China or the US. If Europe falls, it will be the end of democracy as the other free nations like Canada will get isolated and fall as well

Dr. Vin Gupta, has claimed that Trump is visibly slowing down, saying “clearly something is happening” to his mental capability. “His response to somebody fainting in the Oval Office conveyed that, he didn’t show any signs of concern, he didn’t really do anything"

My personal rating of the dangers to Europe (and other nations that are still free)
1 Putin's Russia
2 Trump's US
3 Xi's China
People are the same everywhere, "leaders" are not.

BNR Web Editor: Russian companies are suffering huge losses as profits decline. A total of 18,400 companies suffered losses this year, an 11 percent increase from January through September compared to last year. Meanwhile, profits are actually declining for companies that still have money left over.

Economics shouldn't come first, wellbeing should be humanities first metric. Obviously, economics would be part of it. But at the moment, money and power is placed above all other. That is dead end road. We see now live where unchecked power leads to. Tax the filthy rich, like Norway does.

What better way to hide you want to install a deep state then claim there already IS a deep state and you are going to destroy it?

Reuters: Norway's wealth tax trades millionaires for equality. Its revenue has risen despite the exodus of millionaires and now amounts to 0.6% of GDP—not a trivial amount

There's a lot going on about Mark Kelly that warned the military to refuse illegal orders. Remember, that at the Nuremberg trials in 1945/1946, "Befehl ist befehl" (orders are orders) was NOT a valid defense. "Orders are orders" will NOT get you off the hook now either. Not even talking about ethics

US ABMC, had removed information boards about the role of Black liberators during World War II from Dutch US war cemetery Margraten. ABMC told NOS this week, that parts of the panels no longer fit the organization's mission of remembrance. The cemetery is managed by the United States.

Although I completely support Europe building up military to keep Putin in check and help getting him out of Ukraine, I'm opposed to the commercialization of the weapon industry. There should be a strict government oversight, nobody should get filthy rich of it. Also, use the experience of Ukraine!

Just a thought: there is this push to remove immigrants, not only in the US, but in Europe too. This seems to originate from Russia's "divide and rule" propaganda playbook. But many of those immigrants can work. During war time they could be essential to manufacture weapons. Putin wants it all.

Uk defence journal: "The UK’s DragonFire laser has shot down high-speed drones in new trials, with above-the-horizon tracking and pinpoint accuracy at a kilometre. A £316m contract now pushes the system toward a Type 45 destroyer by 2027."

Ukraine "peace plan" not also benefits Putin, it also benefits the USA: "$100 billion (about €87 billion) in frozen Russian assets must be released, to be spent on "American-led investments" in Ukraine. ... If those investments also generate revenue, the US will also receive half of that"
