i don’t think it *is* easy to manage multiple messaging apps

and it’s definitely a choice and a tradeoff on only ur part if u historically have because up until a couple days ago the current issue with Discord wasn’t really a thing

motivation is a fickle thing and it’s so often mental bandwidth, not outright effort
keeping a variety of platforms constantly in mind is very tiring for me and i do not like it
which is why i am depressed by Discord’s corpo-state asswipe behavior - i just lost my centralized communication hub
