Is this a power move against the managerial class?
Taking away power from the meritocratic elites (like prized architects). Placing it in the hands of oligarchs (were it used to belong in pre-modern times).

I think her appearance at the inauguration was a work of art. And not only considering the aesthetics, but also in the way her look was provoking thoughts and evoking emotions in the spectators.
