Humanity’s only hope is for the decent people of this country to rise in our millions. We cannot wait for future and rigged elections. We must drive the Trump Fascist Regime from power.

It was fascism five years ago when Trump made his coup attempt. It is fascism now, dangerously far along on the road to consolidation. Fascism is never legitimate. It must never be normalized.

The message is unmistakable: opposition, norms, and human life itself are obstacles to be crushed.

At the same time that this regime is unleashing war abroad, it is moving aggressively to crush dissent at home—branding anti-fascist protesters & political opponents as “domestic terrorists,” laying the groundwork for mass repression.

Now Trump has crossed a new threshold with his illegal invasion of Venezuela, his kidnapping abduction of Nicolás Maduro & his declaration that he will “run” Venezuela.

On his first day back in power, Trump pardoned over 1500 insurrectionists, and from day one he has worked to undermine and rig future elections.

Trump's failed coup attempt was a dress rehearsal for far worse: a second Trump term backed by a regime that is even more brutal, lawless, and determined to consolidate fascist rule than before, a fascist regime that has proven it will not be restrained by laws, norms, or any standards of decency.

That this did not disqualify Trump from running for office again showed how easily the guardrails can fall.

January 6 was the culmination of a rolling fascist coup to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
