What LLMs are capable of vs how we use them reminds me of a quote from the MCU.

"The most versatile substance on the planet, and they used it to make a Frisbee. Typical of humans, they scratch the surface and never think to look within."

That feeling when you've been working on a client's app, and you don't know if they'll like what they see, but they're all smiles and laughs throughout the demo.

Question: How many of these phony companies have already changed their logos to rainbow colors for Pride Month,

but they did not change their logo for Black History Month, or Hispanic Heritage Month, or Asian Heritage month, or any other month?

How many have you counted so far?

imo, AI companies should spend less time promoting the technologies content creation capabilities, and more time promoting how the technology can better the lives of everyday people.

They should also promote how AI is transforming fields like STEM, legal, archeological, etc.

Why hasn't OpenAI given us the ability to delete files made using canva from ChatGPT?

I'd really like the ability to do that without having to delete the entire chat thread.

Let's say you're a supporter of AI, or at least not entirely anti-AI, but you believe that AI companies today are unethical...

If it were you steering the ship, what would you do differently?

I've read the email that Fiver CEO, Micha Kaufman, sent to his team about AI coming for everyone's jobs, and I have some thoughts I'd like to share. A 🧵

I don't have any particular goal for sharing these thoughts other than to get them off my chest and MAYBE discover solutions.

Today, I learned about the Limitless Pendant, a device that records everything you see, say and hear for perfect memory and life management.

You can then talk to it to help you stay on top of things.

Think Tony Stark’s JARVIS.

Curiouser and curiouser…

So apparently Ack Transportation Corp believes it’s okay to leave patients stranded at hospitals.

People rely on medical transportation services after major surgeries. The last thing they need is stress.

Ack hangs up on clients or sends them to voicemail on a whim.

In my uninformed opinion, the AI race is much different than any other gold rush.

While people are feeling the pressure of trying to keep up,

since these tools are technically available to anyone with internet,

perhaps pacing and mastering a hand full of tools wins the race.

Anyone experiencing this with @bubble API streaming?

API calls that have streaming enabled don't work when triggered from within a custom event, but can work in a direct workflow?

API Streaming does not work when in Custom Event
Hello, I believe I am encountering an issue where OpenAI’s Create Run API w/streaming will not call from within a custom event. I’ve successfully integrated OpenAI into my app and have been using it for months. But with Bubble’s latest native API streaming feature, I wanted to implement some changes. I added the “Create run” call via the API Connector, except this time with streaming. I have a custom event where this API is called titled “openai_run_streaming_create”. It has 2 actions, 1)...

ABI Global LTD and I are now locked in a petty rivalry where every time I beat the demo version of Bus Escape Traffic Jam, they seemingly update it so its harder and more annoying to play.

Like the color orders change & the screen to buy shows up each turn.

But I still win. Lol
April 27, 2025 at 11:27 AM
Whoa whoa whoa, @bubble just released native support for API streaming!

Hold up... Hold up, Bubble! How you just gonna drop that on me like that?

Nah, I'm hype. The type of stuff I'mma bui-yo. Bruh.

Nah, I'm hype.

You can dislike AI,

but swearing off the technology entirely will only ensure that your future self is set up for failure.

There are far more use cases than just art generation.

Widen your perspective.

@bitmoji.bsky.social updated our avatars to these 3D like models and I HATE IT.

How do I get the cartoon ones back?!

Why would they do this?!

New AI features coming to Bubble. Ngl, they're kinda hype.

- An in-editor assistant with contextual knowledge of app's design, database, and workflows
- Can generate large & small parts of app.
- Can debug & show steps

Okay, @bubble, I see you.

I think America needs more examples of people admitting that "I do not like [insert person], but I think they are right about [insert topic]".

Too often, it's if you don't like someone, then they must also be wrong about everything.

But nuance is required for a better future.

"A.I is not intelligent. It does not think. It retrieves information."

This is a fact, but some say it to downplay A.I's capabilities.

But... we often gauge human intelligence by how much a person can remember on exams, similar to LLM benchmarks.

A.I does that, but 10x better.

It seems I've got access to @OpenAI's Deep Research feature, something I've been waiting for, and wouldn't ya know it? Can't think of what to research. lol

What is everyone else researching?

Between OpenAI’s Stargate and DeepSeek’s new AI, it goes to show that WestWorld was cancelled before its time.

The show had its flaws and lost some luster, but it’s story is becoming more and more relevant each day.

Especially the Rehoboam arc from Season 3.

Random and inconsequential nitpick, but I sorta hate that @Microsoft decided to rename Microsoft 365 to Microsoft 365 Copilot. I also hate that they changed the icon.

Oh well, I guess.

With the impending ban of TikTok, US based nocode @bubble developers who aren’t currently working on any projects have an opportunity to collaborate on an American alternative.

Could be an overnight success.

Just putting that out there.
January 14, 2025 at 3:26 PM
There is still time for some @bubble developers who aren't currently working on any projects to band together and build a US based TikTok alternative, in case it is banned.

Even if it isn't, there is clearly a demand for an alternative.

That would be great for nocode.
