The LEGO driver’s parade race was more exciting than the actual Grand Prix

Verstappen keeping Piastri at bay with some great defensive driving. Meanwhile, Norris gaining on both…

Need to see that Verstappen-Norris incident back at the start. Looked a little dicey…

Another ridiculous lap from Max Verstappen to take pole.

Making a real habit of it this season.

Al-Ahli, champions of Asia for the very first time.

Well deserved. Made full use of their star-studded talent and home advantage to come out on top in this Finals format.

Kawasaki Frontale did well to make the final but looked completely outmatched here.

Doesn't look like there'll be any fairytales in the Asian Champions League Elite final.

Al-Ahli 2-0 up over Kawasaki Frontale in the first half. Galeno with a fantastic opener before Franck Kessie made it two.

The marquee signings making the difference so far for the Saudi side.

We are watching greatness in front of our eyes with Lamine Yamal. A once in a generation talent.

Marcus Thuram, that is simply lovely

The AFC stacked the deck in favour of the Saudi teams with this new Asian Champions League format, and yet we will have an East v West final on Saturday.

Kawasaki Frontale with a remarkable victory over Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr. The Japanese side through to their first continental final.

Kawasaki Frontale making the Asian Champions League Elite final would be great news for the Asian game.

A real TEAM beating a bunch of individuals. Al-Nassr collectively are not a great team.

La Cartuja looks fantastic without the running track. A stadium given a new lease of life and now worthy of holding massive games - including this El Clásico version of the Copa del Rey final.

Al Hilal 7-0 Gwangju.

The Asian Champions League Elite quarter-finals start with one of the most lopsided games ever played.

The gulf in quality enormous and making clear the problems that the AFC have made with the numerous rule changes and the change to a final eight format.

Lando wasting two laps behind Hamilton by overtaking before the DRS detection point on the main straight.

Poor racecraft.

Death, taxes, Verstappen desperately cutting turn one at Jeddah to preserve his lead.

At least this time he gets penalised for it…

Max Verstappen drags the Red Bull onto pole again. Another sensational quali lap.

Verstappen is actually ridiculous. He has somehow dragged that Red Bull to pole position.

What a final sector.

Hadjar struggling with some sort of seat issue and still a couple tenths faster than Lawson 🤔

Still, encouraging to see Lawson at least get out of Q1. That will build confidence

Marc Marquez in this form might just win every single MotoGP race this season.

Operating on another planet with the best bike on the grid at his disposal.

Looks like Yuki Tsunoda will get his shot in the Red Bull from Suzuka onwards.

IMO he’d be better off staying in the Racing Bull but this is an opportunity that he can’t turn down.

Will be a career-defining moment whatever happens.

A much better start for Portugal in the second leg of their Nations League quarter-final.

Penalty after just three minutes - Dorgu looks like he’s brought down Ronaldo, but there is a VAR check ongoing…

A comfortable win for United at Villa Park, taking full advantage of City’s slip-up against Chelsea and adding to their goal difference.

Seven clear of City in fourth with five games remaining. The run-in will be tough but United are giving themselves a buffer to work with.
