Sleepaholic going through withdrawl.
I am enjoying the book! It is a quick read, I am about 25% of the way done. I found it when I stumbled upon this book which I cannot afford at this time (and honestly looks more interesting). The one I am reading is a good gateway book with some basic information about how these get made.

Just started reading this and I think that I am going to enjoy it a lot.
The author was working for the government making promotional stamp related materials when I was a burgeoning nerdlet in the 1970s buying commemorative stamps.

There is a book by a *different* author that has a fascinating history of Aurora Models, it's from 2004 by Thomas Graham and called simply ''Aurora Model Kits". Sample pages (I turned mine into an ebook because the text is so small, olde man eyes, etc.).

I follow this group as they do books on the Aurora Monster and Prehistoric Scenes models, they've been doing a PS book for years and (fingers crossed) it should be in the home stretch.
These pics make me feel like I am 5 again.

If you like this sort of thing you might enjoy this book. It was written decades before the show was made, covers a lot of the same ground. Certain states, death, time, war, nature, etc. are offices. Zane, attempting suicide, shoots Death and now must take the job.

How many of us were in the bread aisle stretching the plastic wrap on Wonder Bread trying to see if that was the card right there that we were missing?

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns.
