Dad, veteran, part time deep thinker, full time idiot.
We also need the Black Panters (the WW2 unit) movie that Michael B. Jordan wants to make.

Also this movie is just fun and Hanks is hilarious as an uptight FBI Agent.

I’m a WWII dork but there’s so much I love about Hank’s performance. The scene where he breaks down after losing his medic guts me every time.

De-radicalization efforts are so important. It doesn’t matter if it’s a young white guy falling into 764/Neo shit or Afghan refugees falling into Daesh/AQ propaganda. We don’t know the full story but I’d be shocked if he didn’t radicalize after falling into the cracks of society.

So incredibly shameful and disgusting. The Dutch have such a reverence for our WWII Fallen that our own country falls short of. It’s another example of how this party doesn’t give two shits about veterans unless we’re being used as props.

I was OBSESSED as a kid. It bums me out that the majority of the sequels were so meh.

This book is somewhat wasted on high schoolers. Of course some get it. I wasn’t one of them. People should read it before they’re allowed to graduate college. Reading it again in my late twenties made me really appreciate the book.
