All your posts about okra gave me such a hankering I had to dip into my wintertime gumbo stash in the freezer for dinner! @ilistrudiepalmer.bsky.social 🌱

This is some of my red burgundy. Its a deep red instead of green!

We start tank training early in this house💪. For now that consists of watching him run into packs of mobs and cackle as he consecrates and throws his shield at things.

Arguably 80% of WoW pally tanking tbf

Loquat is in its new station as Trainee Shade Tree, in what will be the shade garden for growing salad crops over the warmer months! The garden rebuild continues! Almost can't even tell I got covid and then heavily depressed and let it all die of neglect over the winter😅.🌱

Got a loquat tree yesterday! Hole is dug out and composted, and now had it's first soak! Off to hit a load of dishes while I wait for it to permeate and then she's going into her new home as the centerpiece to the new shade garden! Ive wanted a loquat for so long!! 🌱🥰

Every single one of these #democrats need to be primaried.

They are Nazi collaborators and should be handled as such.

SHAME on each and every one of you reckless, spineless, good for nothing, performative disappointments.

When the time came to speak up you censured the only man brave enough!

The line was held as long as possible. The leftovers are gone. The egg, all nogged. The air outside is mildly cool. A facsimile of winter has fallen upon southeast Texas.

Gods help us... it's here

Bout to make a stir fry with 100% of the veg, garlic and onions grown myself at home!

Not at the point I can feed my family like this every day but I'm still so proud myself and of how far I've come in the 3 years I've been gardening! 🌱

Forgot to add my Oyster mushrooms, which I harvested and made a wonderful veggie ramen lunch out of. No pics of the ramen but here is my lonely (if rather beefy) cluster of oysters! They were delicious!

Bonus pics of whole garden. Everything growing together. It seems crowded but as long as you manage it and keep good airflow it seems to help with pests by giving shelter to predator species like lizards and ladybugs. Last but never least, Logan. Looking grumpy over bring asked to sit for free. 🌱

Looking for help confirming/busting an ID from the #fungifriends peeps. These are from a stump in my backyard. Thought they looked like turkey tail, with that banding and porous underside. There are several more on the stump still. These had grass etc grown through them. 🍄

Blue Oyster mushrooms finally fruiting! This tray of straw and the patch in the atrium were inoculated by crumbling up one of those grow your own kits from the grocery store. The outside patch I don't expect to see fruiting until autumn. So excited this experiment is working!! 🌱 🍄 #fungifriends

Was out tying on an extention to the pea trellis (don't make too much fun 😅) and managed to see one of the grounds keepers hard at work keeping pests away from the squash!
