The only steps that are missing is saying i wont buy more till i paint all that i have and then me trying to convince myself that if I own more cool models I'll be more motivated to paint the said models

Thats what was so brutal about the game. I remember working so hard to get past the tunnel stage and was so happy... only to have the next level totally obliterate me.

One of the key vibes of the metroid games that I have always loved is the isolation. Exploring some place in deep space and no one is there to help you from whatever you find. That feeling adds so much to the games.
