How is it that PECOTA doesn't have the Tigers to be favorites? They have the best pitcher in the AL to go with their good SP and their lineup is pretty good. Tigers are the team to beat in the ALC IMO.

That is an uptick from last year. I remember being disappointed Twins weren't broadcasting their own games until about mid March.

After luxury tax is factored in, the Dodgers are spending more than one third of the Twins worth as an organization. In one year. I think the scale is tipped too far at this point.

Yeah looking at his stats from this year that would be a poor choice. Regular reps didn't seem to make him a consistent hitter. His defense at 1B was about the only good thing, which won't play with a 90 OPS+

How would we feel if the Twins use him at DH against righties and 1B against lefties? Clemens at 1B I imagine grades out at least average defensively. More RH bats needed overall though.

It seemed clear they weren't going to give Eeles a shot. They needed RH bats early in the season and didn't call up McCusker when he was red hot. Either you have to be a top prospect nationally, or the FO will disregard you.
