Final ST fundamentals (in %iles)...
Michael Soroka (WAS, 68 BF, 17 BF/G): 41 Overall, 8 Ctl/35 K/86 Batted Ball Profile (34 GB/79 IFFB/91 LD Avoid/12 OFFB Avoid/21 Pull OFFB Avoid [51 AVG & 57 ISO Avoids on Batted Balls])

4-seam IVB trait there per IFFB. Better cast as K+IFFB RP now, to me.

Bonds wouldn't get 175 at-bats?

The Astros farm system's demise began... during the Click administration with an assist from the disruptive restructuring of MiLB Leagues in wake of COVID. Brown+Crane et al. haven't done much to stem the sink, but they're only partially to blame.

Objective-Outcomes-Based MLB Farm System Rankings: #21-#30

NL East's MIA #Marlins & NYM #Mets #LGM posted shy of average mound fundamentals, still poorer offensive outcomes; per Youth vs Level, NYM leans at least semi-aggressive in promoting prospects.

Objective-Outcomes-Based MLB Farm System Rankings: #21-#30

#23 TOR #BlueJays position players are good within the batters box per a 70 Plate Rating... but these Jays lose their wings and can't fly after leaving it per a 2 Offensive Running Rating. Mound work needs work.

#25 ARI #Dbacks mirrors HOU in having a far too high Youth versus Level per percentiles in preceding columns. CHC #Cubs has big gap between #24 Data Outcomes rank & #9 Aggregate Top Prospects rank, skews older prospects per Youth.

WAS #Nationals had 2nd worst pitchers. Its position players ranked #5 at Offensive Running but were hamstrung by not being able to use that skill much aside from between home & 1st per poor plate marks. 2nd lowest/oldest Youth hurts, too.

#27 HOU fans: "Prospect rankings don’t matter… #Astros consistently turn no-name MiLBers into MLBers!".

True, but HOU MiLBers stuffed tables like these with big numbers then. Now data likes the HOU system as little as prospect rankers.

Objective-Outcomes-Based MLB Farm System Rankings: #21-#30

LAA #Angels is comparably bad to PIT but routinely drafts later in 1st round ~ Pick 10, in part due to being saddled with Trout & Ohtani. LAA 1st-rounders invariably end up unsexier or rookie-ineligible come prospects ranking season.

Objective-Outcomes-Based MLB Farm System Rankings: #21-#30

NL Central clubs CIN #Reds & PIT #Pirates are worst & next worst at player+pitcher development. As offshoot, 2 MLB clubs often land picks near top of Draft which in turn boosts their ranks in Top Prospect set comparisons.

Had a handful of monster K+IFFB RP games in Sep between MiLB & MLB. Would guess that some better clubs spotted that & recruited him to be that variety of short RP... and he ended up with Nats because he still wants to start & they were willing to let him do it.
