Divide my time between fretting about the near-term future of the world & being an avid baseball fan🇨🇦🇩🇰🇵🇦🇲🇽🇺🇦
Since this one knows the Gold Coast of Connecticut a lot better than the Pennsylvania he left after high school the term ignorant should be included with stupid. Of course the voters of Pennsylvania deserve a lot of the blame for electing a carpetbagger.

Rabbit Maranville needed some company.

Apparently the price of caviar & lobster was too high for Connecticut’s Gold Coast Senator last fall.

We learned in school about infamous individuals like Roger Taney, Joe McCarthy, & Andrew Johnson.By all rights Trump & his minions should join them in future history books. I worry, however, that those books may not be written by scholars-instead, history may simply be Fox “News” propaganda.

These folks (including Jeffries & Schumer)cannot fathom that it’s not 1983 w/ Reagan’s people & Tip O’Neill negotiating policy. There’s no “long game”-there’s only doing everything possible to confront Trump right now. Which should involve Jeffries standing in front of an ICE van & getting arrested.

It’s important, but disheartening, to remember we are not even 1/4 of the way through this nightmare in the best of circumstances. Trump has built an immunity for himself w/ the Supreme Court. He only needs 1/3 of the Senate to refuse to convict him if he’s impeached. The corruption will only grow.

I think he’s exactly the “president” he wants to be. He cares nothing for anyone who cannot increase his wealth or power-voters can do no more for him. He cares nothing for the concept of a country other than how it can help him increase his wealth & power. He now feels he’s untouchable-& he may be.

True - even her movie “career” lacks luminary status.

I’m not going to corrupt my brain by actually listening to this, but how in the world could dressing up for a flight “honor your country?” As opposed to having a convicted felon & rapist as President?

This sounds like a scheme Frank Burns would have thought up on MASH - come to think of it, Hegseth has a lot of Frank Burns characteristics…

Calling Lindsey Halligan a legal luminary is sort of like calling Russell Wilson a Broncos luminary….

I see two angles-one, last season the O’s gave few updates on Rodriguez. I would speculate the organization has some issues with how he handles injuries. Two, Elias is in a total win in 2026 mode, from a job security perspective & also from the growing fear there may not be a 2027 season.

Thank goodness Kris Bryant is going to do something for Colorado.

Senator, I fear the Trump regime doesn’t care any longer about polls. They have their secret police force, the House of Representatives is no longer active & the Supreme Court is subservient. They believe they can rule by decree & they have the might to overcome all opposition. They may be correct.

I do not know the solution to this crisis. But I do know it more than likely involves actions unimaginable to us 15 years ago. I wish I could be optimistic about the future, but I fear even darker days lie ahead.

Not all of them can pick up & leave & it feels wrong to abandon them. But it is also wrong for those in states where the majority opposes this regime to continue to be subjected to occupation by secret police forces & have our tax dollars used to destroy our environment & justice system.
October 28, 2025 at 6:38 PM
If my state & other states committed to justice could separate from repressive places like Texas & Florida, what happens to the millions of people in those states opposed to this regime who would be subjected to even crueler governance than they currently experience?

I wrestle with the question of whether the US should be broken up every day. I despise living under the authoritarian rule of the current regime & I’m fortunate to live in a state where it is resisted. I cannot foresee a scenario where this regime gives up power voluntarily. But…

But Joe Davis keeps saying he’s struggling this postseason.
