My Black Friday pickups! Plus, the Analog 3D finally arrived! I’m planning to focus much more on my Nintendo backlog in 2026, and the Analog 3D and Switch 2 will certainly help with that. I’ve already cleared a few games from the Switch backlog, so off to a decent start!

Ghost of Yotei looks absolutely stunning (to nobody’s surprise). Combat is incredibly immersive and cinematic. Story opens with a bang and has some real Kill Bill energy to it. Cannot wait to keep playing!

Mafia: The Old Country delivered the experience I was hoping for. A shorter 8-10hr experience, great story, fantastic voice acting, and a beautiful depiction of early 1900s Sicily. Gameplay feels very PS3/360 era, but that never bothers me. I enjoyed it! #JustBeatIt @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Yes! Recently I’ve been playing almost exclusively PSP and Xbox 360 era games 😅 Part of it is that I’ve been playing some massive newer games recently and needed a break, but I also just miss simpler games. Less mechanics, bells and whistles. Just simple game design. Like this one which was great!

Yes! Recently I’ve been playing almost exclusively PSP and Xbox 360 era games 😅 Part of it is that I’ve been playing some massive newer games recently and needed a break, but I also just miss simpler games. Less mechanics, bells and whistles. Just simple game design. Like this one which was great!
