I am named after the warrior from Japanese anime Dragonball of which I know nothing about.

It's full of great Dublin stories, humour and beautiful music & songs.
Was there last night and would highly recommend if free this evening or tomorrow.

Few objects in human history have the longevity of the everyday key. The earliest keys date back some 4000 years to the Egyptians who had already included internal pins in their design. The ubiquitous metal flat key we use today dates all the way back to the mid-1800s and a man named Linus Yale.

Hand brace drills appear as far back as the 1400s in Flanders. In the early 19th Century the industrial revolution allowed for production of new, more accurate, pinion wheel hand drills. The fore-runner of the modern hand drill... they are still available for purchase today at Belfield Stores!

The symbol that appears on mailboxes represents the brass horn that was sounded by Mail Coach Guards in the 19th Century. It warned that, for the safety of the mail, they would not stop for any reason. We don't sell mail horns, but we do sell plastic and metal postboxes with sturdy locks and keys.

Blowtorches were first invented in the late 1700s. The projection of a flammable vapour focused to a fine point made them useful for a wide variety of tasks. The French named the device “Eolipyle” after the Greek God of Wind. And we still stock them today to help with small kitchen and DIY jobs.

At Belfield Hardware Stores one of our favourite tasks is refurbishing trusty old tools. This Felco 160S had been used to cut steel wire and was in need of some care. We sourced and fitted a new blade and spring. The secateurs are now "as new" and our customer was delighted to have them back.
