I wonder if so many young men who saw Star Wars got the wrong answer in the last election and think Paul Atreides is the hero of Dune because the average man is no better than Anakin Skywalker or Paul Atreides

With more work or better character he could’ve been a better writer, but he wasn’t one to do the work because he lacked the character

The biggest difference between the Russo-Ukrainian War and the US Civil War is, the US Civil War was a slave state trying to get away from a free country, and the Russo-Ukrainian War is a free country trying to get away from a slave state

The first analogy Carrier made in his case for a mythical Jesus was Roswell

A man found sticks and tin foil in the desert and just 20 years later they were the subject of more myths than a cargo cult

But Mormonism is a better analogy than Roswell, and I think it makes perfect sense of Acts
