It just occurred to me MAGA are literally Bizzaro Libertarians, think about it.
Libertarians want to start society over and build back up.
MAGA wants to tear it all back down till they get to where they want to be.

Trump's targeting of Venezuela is an attempt to create casus belli. His use of emergency powers early on was based on being at war with Tren de Aragua. If he can provoke a reaction from Venezuela, then he can use that as validation of his actions, both past and future.

At the same time they are removing relief valves.
I'm sure some Vietnam Vets would have strong opinions.

This shutdown may not accomplish anything short term. But it's a rallying cry that says "We see what is happening and we aren't going to idly stand by and let it happen." It will make people aware going into 2026 what is at stake.

Two questions first one is easy. In 2013 who shut down the government?
Easy right?
Republicans.

Now apparently the hard question.
Which Party took both the House and the Senate in 2014?
... Republicans

Elon Musk does not have a "family" he has a harem. Family is about caring for one another, and having people who accept you, in essence family is the home you return to. Elon has financial dependents, and women who are clearly not equal partners. Its a Harem.
“Even pronatalists like us do not want more births regardless of the dangers to the lives of mothers, the basic well-being of children, or the integrity of the family,” Lyman Stone and Brad Wilcox write:
Musk’s High-Tech Polygamy Is a Dead End

When I meet my maker I plan to do so with humility, I will tell them all my failures and explain how I tried. Perhaps they will remain silent, maybe judge me, or bring up things I forgot or could not know. But once it's over somehow they will have brought me to acceptance, till then I keep trying.

I joke because when people laugh no matter the weight they carry for that moment they are free.
