These opinions hit particularly hard when voiced by people who are otherwise perfectly capable of being based. One minute they decry genocide, but the next they argue that cities being turn into glass are ok, since it's going to inconvenience NATO or some shit.

Tthe right will always outbid the left, because even the most optimistic leftists understand that moving away from capitalism will require a lot of effort and some sacrifices, while the right will just claim to magic all the problems away once [insert minority of the week] goes the way of the dodo.

It’s the same principle that allows alternative medicine quacks to compete with science-based medicine. Sure, they might be selling stuff that at best doesn’t work, and at worst is actually harmful, but who cares? By ignoring the rules of reality, they can promise people whatever the fuck they want.
