if you go so far in time and do not consider the 90's as a democratic period, then Hungary never had a democracy. Before 1918, it was far from a democracy.

Magyar is not really promising, he is a copy of the young Orban.
But he is needed to have a chance to kick Orban from power. It gives a chance to go back to democracy and to have fair elections before he turns the country in his corrupted one like Orban did.

Unfortunately : With media control, people don't think. With vote suppression, people don't vote => people are not electing dictators.

He is still having about 40% support due to the control of media which are spreading disinformation about political opponents and repeatedly telling that the government is doing wonderful.

The cheat was in an official report last time (unfair campaign/controlled media, vote suppression, cheating on polling stations,... everything was documented), and nobody did anything about it. Why would it change that time?

Let's say that the ministry of transport had a pretty clear vision of what is happening to the guy having the job when the results are too bad.

It is quite impossible to vote in Germany or in UK (1 polling station in the whole country) for example.
