As far as Cornell goes, he didn't even flunk because of Calc or Chem. Tyler was never the most disciplined person in High School, and what little discipline he had he practically purposefully lost in his gap year in Romania; Tyler told me straight up that he just did not attention his classes.

Im a trans woman of Jewish descent, and he knew this. It stings to see how much of himself he hid from me. This man slept at my house; i considered him like a brother. Your podcast is filling in the blanks, and is leaving me with closure on this bond burnt by his hate, I'm deeply grateful for that.

He got pardoned, unfortunately. I knew him in high school. We were pretty close at that time, unfortunately. I've got some stories about him... I hate that I have to Google someone frequently to make sure he's not a threat to me and my family now.

Not according to the Lutheranism that i was raised in. My God is an allloving and forgiving God, not whatever bleak totalitarian Canaanite deity you claim to speak for.
Hard to really determine what "true" is for something as subjective as religion, I doubt even you and your pastor completely agree.

What's the functional difference? My sin is between me and God at the end of the day. When I die, I'll be the only one to pay for them (disregarding that Jesus died to save me from them and all). Let Him be the one to judge me and just accept me, it isnt your job to call out sins on his behalf.

I dont get it. The rhetoric being Espoused is as unbiblical and unchristian as I could really imagine, in the name of that same Bible and faith. Pretty sure there are some verses warning against idolatry and taking the lord's name in vain, which is to say, attributing false messages to his name.

I mean, political violence is definitely bad. Im not going to claim it's good. I'm not totally devoid of empathy. Thing is, they are; they dont even go through the pretenses of the motions when, say, two Minnesota lawmakers and their dogs are put down. Not a good use of energy if its not reciprocal.

The disavowals dont matter for shit, anyway. Performative condemnations aren't going to make our communities any less purgable of oppositions or scapegoats. Obviously dont endorse it, but dont self-flagellate or sanitize the guy; move on and prepare for the odious shit this will be used to justify.

Evidently they're cracking down on anti-Kirk and pro-assassination rhetoric (not that those are to be conflated, this isn't Luigist). Does this mean we need to be overly aggressive in our rhetoric in how normally-sized Charlie's face was?
