Whatever it is that you make, as amateur and as pitiful as it may seem, has value, lots of value. Please believe me when I promise you that your art is meaningful, beautiful, and special, no matter how tiny, insignificant, or bad it may seem. I truly mean this, I promise.

Creating is a beautiful thing, and whatever you end up creating, please trust me when I say that it is enough. It can be very good to go back and change things in your drawings, but please trust me when I say that it is wonderful just the way it is, wherever it is at.

You may also find that your art isn't where you want it to be. I want to assure you that even in the earliest stages, your art will be so so beautiful, even if you can't see it. Please be kind to yourself and appreciate even the small and messy things that you make.

One more thing, if you find that you aren't drawing as much as you would like, try carrying around a little notebook or something and a pen or pencil or whatever you want to draw with, maybe even multiple tools to draw with, and doodle and draw whenever you get the chance. I hope this helps!

Also keep in mind that you don't need to have one style. You can make many many types of things. Make what you enjoy making, not what you expect yourself to make. Having fun with exploring different ideas is one of the best things you can do to keep drawing a lot, as you'll, you know, be having fun!

As you draw, you can find the things you like to do, and develop your own style, unique to you, which nobody has ever seen before. You truly do have the capability to create something that is new and special.

One of the most wonderful things in making art is discovery. Experiment with new things, if a style or brush or colour combination or shape catches your eye, you can go try it out however you would like!

Don't worry about trying to draw things exactly. You can represent whatever you want to draw however you want to. Let yourself draw lines on the page wherever you draw them. I have a problem with undoing a lot I would say, and my advice is to just keep going even if things aren't as you expected.

When it comes to the time when you have the page in front of you, if you don't know what to draw, I would recommend observing and trying to draw what you see in your surroundings. If there is anything that you see which you want to draw sometime, take note of it or even take a picture.

There are lots of great guides youtube about many different concepts if you want to build some skills. If your problem is getting yourself to draw, sometimes you need to schedule things and set aside time to draw. Building a routine which accommodates doing what you want to do helps a lot.
