Woke up and took 20 minutes this morning to do a quick painting practicing doing digital with traditional acrylic technique. I meant to do a lot more studies and practice yesterday but got side tracked. Tomorrow though is another Adderall day, and non distractions then!

It's remarkable to me how different painting on adhd meds is vs off. Even doing one of these would take me a week of finding the time and energy. I did all these in an hour. Just random practice of blocking in shapes and colors, essentially paint sketching to keep it fun #painting #practice

As a Christmas present to my SO, and because I had a minor operation and was couchbound for a week, I made a portrait of my SO's first ever D&D character using a reference from @trueref.bsky.social , really pushing myself to see how much I have learned over the past year.

Back when I played #Signalis the first time in March I ambitiously thought to make an OC and do a painting project of them with each of the canon Replika models, but I only got a few into it before the ADHD deviated me to other pursuits. One day I think I would like to retry it though

Because I just finished the latest episodes of Arcane and I'm in my feels about it deciding to post the painting that was the most emotional for me for my DnD campaign.

Something I have been doing this year is creating auto palettes from photos of plants and stuff from my yard this year, since we now own our first home. Going to try and do some paintings in Dec/Jan, one for each month with the goal of using the entire palette in the final piece. #palettes

I've got nothing impressive to say, I'm just a lad here to follow and adore artists' work, maybe rarely share my own, and shamelessly steal memes. That being said, remember that all this exists far away and what matters the most surrounds you IRL. Take breaks, take breaths. Don't drown.
