I can remember the elastic positions: ankles, knees, under bum, waist, under arms and neck. And I think the moves were inside, outside, criss cross…so many variations.

God I loved playing elastics. Not always easy to do as an only child in a neighbourhood filled with boys. But I managed with a bit of creativity and bossiness. 🤣

Hmmm I’ll have to check them out. I was thinking of picking up some shortbread or gingerbread to have with coffee. There’s a Coles near my physio I’ll pop in and have a look next week. Hopefully there’s some left. 🤞

And yet ironically the government tried their hardest to ban a march across the bridge protesting the genocide in Gaza. Many of the victims were children. 😔

While there are definitely cases of grooming kids over the internet…which is why parents need to actually parent i.e. supervision of young children and have “those”discussions so they have awareness as teenagers. There’s definitely major issues with coaches & church youth leaders.

Albo has literally told them to go and play sport. Does he not realise that they will want to watch professional sports coverage of whatever sport they choose?

Excellent article. You are absolutely correct about it often being an extension of “real world” bullying. Parents need to engage with their children about coping strategies for bullying instead of relying on a faulty government fix.

Interesting. And I need to put my hand up and say mea culpa to Lisa Wilkinson as it had appeared (to me) that perhaps she had an effect on justice being served for Brittany. Ironic that the grub has helped prove my opinion wrong.

Was always going to happen. I can recall my youngest (now 21) in kindergarten beating school internet restrictions by bypassing the classroom alphabet matching game by typing in the URL for a skateboarding game. He is Gen Z, Gen Alpha have got this.

Hahaha that newspaper headline cracked me up. Now I’m wondering if my husband saw that because I remember him saying to me at that time that the internet won’t go anywhere. Something that sends myself & our GenZ sons into paroxysms of laughter 😂🤣😂

I still cannot believe they are allowing Roblox, currently facing multiple lawsuits for child safety in regards to pedos. Just goes to show these laws have NOTHING to do with child protection.
