"For the 1st time since the announcement of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood agreement in Aleppo last April, the Syrian Min. of Interior has closed the entrances to the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, prohibiting entry—only exit is permitted. The reasons are unknown."

In America, a socialist country, universities have dorms for their students to live in. In the capitalist Netherlands students have to find scarce housing on the free market, so most end up living at home, limiting their choice of uni. nos.nl/l/2581086

Acht jaar geleden was 52 procent van de hbo- en wo-studenten uitwonend, nu is dat nog 44 procent. Steeds minder studenten zoeken naar een kamer als gevolg van het tekort aan kamers.
